Staff Therapist | New York City

I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can feel authentic, feel seen and heard, and can express themselves. Therapy can be a transformational space for self-expression, regardless of background or past experiences.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing individual therapy in New York City, I am dedicated to offering affirming, client-focused, and evidence-based psychotherapy within a strong, holding therapeutic environment. My goal is to cultivate an empathetic, non-judgmental, collaborative, and authentic space where all parts of you are welcomed, respected, and valued.

My Approach and Experience

I work from a strengths-based, client-centered approach, meaning I believe you are the expert on your life, and together, we build on the resilience and insight you already possess. My clinical work is informed by an integrative model, including:

Psychodynamic Therapy: To help uncover patterns rooted in past experiences and relationships, allowing for deeper insight and long-term growth.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): To develop psychological flexibility — learning how to relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward the values that matter most to you.

Motivational Interviewing: To support you in navigating ambivalence and building confidence in your ability to make meaningful changes.

Populations and Specialized Focus

I have significant experience working with diverse adult populations in high-volume settings, focusing on:

BIPOC and LGBTQ+ Individuals: I am deeply committed and experienced in providing affirming care in New York City. I have supported clients in addressing identity-related stress, experiences of discrimination, internalized stigma, family and cultural dynamics, intersectionality, and the emotional impact of systemic oppression. I understand how identity, culture, and lived experiences shape our lives and mental health.

Life Transitions and Adult Development: I work with young adults and individuals in NYC navigating major life changes, anxiety, low self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and feeling stuck. This includes managing academic stress, career development, identity exploration, and moving toward independent living. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working toward meaningful growth and change.

Inclusive Practice: I have designed and facilitated professional development focused on strengthening inclusive care and fostering positive relationships across diverse groups.

Credentials and Education

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in New York City. I completed my Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College (Class of 2025). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Media, Culture and Communication from New York University.

Therapy is a collaborative journey. If you're ready to explore, heal, and strengthen your sense of self, I would be honored to support you.
